In Memory of the Past
In memory of its links to a long established history of
education, the College has set aside part of its foyer area with a
memorial to former Headmasters of Huishs Grammar School.
This mark of respect to the history of Huishs was
brought about in part by pressure from the Association and, in
particular, President Fred Hutchings, who challenged the fact that the
Huish Crest was nowhere to be seen at the college. College Principal,
Peter Avery, presented the new Crest at the 2005 Dinner and promised
then that it would be put up for all to see. True to his word, the
following pictures show just what the Principal has done.
